|In the August 2013 issue, Jo Bunney introduced Cabin Life readers to the bat condo she and her husband, brother-in-law, and sons built near their cabin on the Pend Oreille River in northeastern Washington. Below are some web-exclusive photos and plans for the structure.|
Plans provided by the Pennsylvania Gaming Commission. Visit the PGC website for more information about bats and plans for a variety of bat houses. There's sure to be one that fits your cabin needs.

The logs used on the outside of the bat condo were left over from the Bunneys' cabin remodel, so the condo matches their cabin. The bat condo is perched high on 12-foot stilts.
