This year marks the centennial of the infamous 1910 fire that ravaged
over 3 million acres in northern Idaho, western Montana and eastern
Washington. Flames burned a portion of the Dale and Jane Scotts’
property; afterwards, the mountain top re- seeded into the meadow of
