This rustic yet luxurious cabin draws inspiration from the great lodges and log structures of the past. A central great room with large fireplace anchors the main level and opens to the nearby kitchen and dining area. The main-level master bedroom offers convenience as well as privacy, while the lower level has three bedrooms, a home theater, billiards, and a games room. There is also a web-exclusive concept plan for finishing the loft level of the lodge. This design by Visbeen Architects won first place in Conceptual Design of the 2010 American Residential Design Awards from the American Institute of Building Designs.
