Just outside Hinton, West Virginia, at the junction of the New and Greenbrier Rivers, awaits a one-of-a-kind cabin experience. Located on its very own private oasis, the Cabin on Coney Island is a secluded getaway that guarantees you only share your vacation (and the shore!) with those you choose to.

The location of the cabin, perched at the very southern tip of the recently designated New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, boasts beautiful views you won’t find anywhere else. Hilly Appalachian forests greet you from the windows, meanwhile ambient sounds of the rushing river instill a calm throughout each room.

The cabin accommodates up to 10 people with three bedrooms, five beds, and one bathroom. When you arrive at the property, you’re welcomed by a fire pit and sprawling outdoor deck. The main floor of the cabin features an open floor plan with a kitchen, dining room and living space. On the main level you’ll also find two small bedrooms and the bathroom. Climb the stairs to the second-story loft, which houses three trundle beds.

Outside, the property is yours to explore, but plan to spend some time on the mainland to partake in the endless activities available in the area. Kayaking, biking, rock climbing and boating are popular pastimes within the national park, while downtown Hinton offers a chance to absorb the history of the old railroad town.

Nb: The cabin is only accessible via boat, and transportation to the property is not provided. Many guest reviews suggest using a local boat rental business named Cantrell Ultimate Rafting to get to and from the property.
