Quick & Easy Gourmet: Lakehouse Muesli

Lakehouse Muesli

This hearty dish is a wonderful morning meal. Serves 4.
  • 1 cup regular rolled oats
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2  apples, cored, sliced and diced
  • ¼ cup slivered almonds
  • 3  tablespoons agave syrup (if unavailable, maple syrup or honey works great)
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut (this is optional)
  • 1 cup plain non-fat yogurt
? In a medium bowl, prepare rolled oats according to package directions and let stand while you prepare remaining ingredients.

? Combine lemon juice and apples.  Next, stir apples, almonds, agave syrup and coconut together. After well combined, incorporate into oatmeal mixture.

? Divide into serving bowls and garnish with dollop of yogurt.
